Historical Note Cont'd:    Pilatus PC-12 is a passenger and cargo aircraft manufactured by Pilatus Aircraft.  The main market for the aircraft is corporate transport and regional airliner operators.  Most PC-12s are used as corporate transports and regional airliner operators.  The PC-12's maiden flight was on May 31, 1991 and was introduced in 1994.  The PC-12 incorporates a Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-67B turboprop engine.  The primary users of the PC-12 are the Civil Aviation and the United States Air Force.  As of September 2007, there are over 730 PC-12s sold and most are being used in the civil market.
