Historical Note:    SR.Mk.2 entered service with No.543 Squadron at RAF Wyton, near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, in December 1965 and served until 10th May 1973, when it was destroyed in a landing accident at RAF Wyton. It bounced during an asymmetrical landing; yawed on attempting to overshoot, hit the ground and blew up!
