Historical Note: The Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm flying target facilities unit was originally known as No. 776 Fleet Requirements Unit (FRU) and was based at Hurn, Bournemouh, in the late 1960s. Operated by Airwork Services Ltd, the unit moved to Yeovilton in 1972 and changed its name to the Fleet Requirements and Air Direction Unit (FRADU), and was operating a mixture of Canberra variants, which included T.4s, TT.18s and T.22s, with which it was equipped for the following decade.
