GERMAN BF-109G-6 MESSERSCHMITT - HUNGARY 1944
HUNGARY, 1944
The Forces of Valor... these are the men that fought the battles. They came from every nation and every creed to battle on their countries behalf. Today’s fighting forces are similar to those of the past. The makeup of men, now joined by women, remains basically the same. Acts of heroism, keen determination, and sheer willpower define today’s Forces of Valor…
Forces of Valor vehicles and aircraft feature true-to-life detail with lots to discover and explore… tank tracks that really roll along their independent suspension… hatches & access ports that reveal internal compartments… turrets & gun barrels that maneuver just like they did in battle… all these exacting details bring these combat proven machines to life!
NOTE: The German Messerschmitt BF109 was the Luftwaffe's standard single-seat fighter and was virtually unmatched in the early years of World War II. The power of the BF109 gave it an unmatched ability to out climb and out dive any other aircraft in the sky. The BF109G was powered by a 1800 horsepower Daimler-Benz engine which enabled it outrun its enemies. The drawback was fuel consumption which proved very limiting against the RAF in the Battle of Britain.
