Historical Note: On May 12, 2005, the 27th Fighter Squadron (the USAF’s oldest continuously operational fighter squadron), 1st Fighter Wing, received delivery of the first of its twenty-six F-22 Raptors on the way to becoming the world’s first operational Raptor unit. Replicating that first F-22 delivered to the “Fighting Eagles” at Langley Air Force Base, this newly tooled, 1/72 scale, die cast Hobby Master model features engraved panel lines, a detailed cockpit with an optional-position canopy and a pilot figure, sidewinder and AIM-120C missiles, optional-position landing gear, a two-tone camouflage scheme with authentic markings, and more. 10¼" long; includes a display stand.
