We're happy to unveil Atlas' Silver Classics line of silver-plated, die cast metal models. Unlike any other die cast line we've ever offered, it has a unique set of features:

  • Classic passenger aircraft from the immediate post-WWI era to today (and tomorrow)
  • 1:200 scale
  • Plated in genuine silver
  • Wooden base with metal nameplate
  • Limited Edition
  • Branded packaging with certificate of authenticity

Best of all, these unique features have been applied to some of the most groundbreaking and collectible aircraft in history:  the first all-metal passenger plane, huge flying boats from the 1920s and '30s, the first airliner with a pressurized cabin, the post-WWII two- and four-engine propliners that opened the world to travel, the first jetliner, and more ... right up through SpaceShipTwo, which is racing to be the first designed to carry paying passengers to space. And these Silver Classics are great not only for collectors, but they make wonderful executive gifts, too, so they can even help you expand your market!

HISTORIC Swissair Douglas DC-3 Start Up & Take-Off - Great Sound! (03:10)
The Douglas DC-3 is a flying legend and the most successful airliner in aviation history. The legendary aircraft dominated both military and civil aviation since its introduction in 1935. The highly reliable and very robust DC-3 was used on all fronts during the Second World War. During the Berlin Blockade, the DC-3 won many children’s heart between blood, sweat and tears when candies were dropped from the airplane. The German children christened the candy-dropping aircraft Raisin Bomber. Nowadays the legendary aircrafts carries the nickname "Grand Old Lady“. The greatly restored DC-3 carries the original Swissair livery of the late 1930s. The dull roar of the Pratt & Whitney radial engines is tirelessly announcing the amazing success story of the Douglas DC-3.
