Historical Note:

The Spanish Air Force 142 EscuadrÃ³n (Squadron) Tigers of the Ala 14 (Wing) began in 1980 with the arrival of the Mirage F.1 fighter. The 142 Squadron is a sister to the 141 Squadron both located at Los Llanos AFB, near Albacete Spain. By the end of 2018 sixty one of the seventy three Eurofighters ordered by the EjÃ©rcito del Aire (Army of the Air - Spanish Air Force) had been delivered. Ala 14 was fully operational with the Eurofighter by 2013. EF2000 C.16-48 MSN 11-28/14-12 Serial SS029 was manufactured in 2011.
