Historical:
The Focke-Wulf Ta 152 was a World War II German high-altitude fighter-interceptor designed by Kurt Tank and produced by Focke-Wulf. The Ta 152 was a development of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 aircraft. It was intended to be made in at least three versions—the Ta 152H Höhenjäger ("high-altitude fighter"), the Ta 152C designed for medium-altitude operations and ground-attack using a Daimler-Benz DB 603 and smaller wings, and the Ta 152E fighter-reconnaissance aircraft with the engine of the H model and the wing of the C model. The first Ta 152H entered service with the Luftwaffe in January 1945. The Ta 152 was produced too late and in insufficient numbers to affect the outcome of the war.

This 1:72 scale Oxford Aviation model is an absolutely DYNAMITE representation of Kurt Tank's ultimate extension of his FW 190 design - and it looks fantastic paired up with and displayed alongside Oxford's earlier Ta 152 release. This Bird has great overall detail in a very compact scale - and the Good Folks at Oxford have really done their homework, as all of the historical aspects of this particular aircraft model are dialed in and Spot On ! ( Which is "Par -for -the-Course" for Oxford's SUPERB line of 1:72 scale airplanes by-the-way... ) The A-Team shipped it to me Lightning Fast in a solid, secure package and at a truly unbeatable price - a genuine Hat Trick if there ever was one !!!
Thank You Aiken's - I'm Super-Stoked to add this little Gem to my Hanger !
