BBMF (Battle of Britain Memorial Flight), KM-B (PA474), RAF Coltishall, 1975. The Avro Lancaster was a British four-engine Second World War bomber aircraft made initially by Avro for the British Royal Air Force (RAF). It first saw active service in 1942, and together with the Handley-Page Halifax it was one of the main heavy bombers of the RAF, the RCAF and squadrons from other Commonwealth and European countries serving within RAF Bomber Command.

I didn't realize that this was part of a collector series. The price was right and I was surprised by the detail and fine craftsmanship of the product. This one deserves a prominent place in my displays. I have no complaints about this one. Thank you.

Another great model from Corgi, this Lancaster lacks nothing in details whether molded, cast or painted. Memories of the films of Lancasters filling the night sky will flood the mind as you look at this quality reproduction.
