Full length, full flight video from gate to gate onboard Lufthansa Airbus A320 (Sharklets) D-AIUJ, operating flight LH954 from Frankfurt-Main (FRA) to Birmingham (BHX) on 5 February 2015. *Every minute of the flight included from gate to gate* The video begins with a bus ride to a remote stand at Frankfurt, getting a great view of aircraft on stands en-route, where we board a nearly new Airbus A320 D-AIUJ via the rear stairs. Once on board we are welcomed onboard, and advised of a delay to our departure. 15 minutes later, we push back from stand and begin our lengthy taxi to runway 07L, taking our place in a lengthy queue for departure. The pilot once again comes on to advise we are number 6 in the queue, which is due to crosswinds restricting them to the use of only one runway at Frankfurt. Soon after however we line up and take off, getting a great view of Frankfurt's terminal as we climb away from the runway. Once airborne, it's a turn to the left and we soon start to make up time. We climb straight to 38,000ft, flying towards Cologne, making a left turn to fly to the north of Brussels directly over Antwerp, crossing the coast near to Ostend and getting a great view of the shipping traffic in the Straits of Dover. We make landfall directly over Southend on Sea, commencing our descent heading northwest towards Luton, Milton Keynes, and finally a series of sweeping turns over Leamington Spa and Coventry to put us on track for an on-time landing on runway 33 at Birmingham, after a flight time of just 1h10m. Einmal an Bord werden wir an Bord begrüßt und von einer Verzögerung bis zu unserer Abreise beraten. 15 Minuten später, schieben wir wieder von Stand und beginnen unsere lange Start- und Landebahn Taxi zu 07L unter unseren Platz in einer langen Warteschlange für den Abflug. Der Pilot kommt noch einmal auf, um zu beraten wir die Nummer 6 in der Warteschlange, die durch Seitenwind Beschränkung auf die Verwendung von nur einer Start- und Landebahn in Frankfurt ist. Bald darauf aber wir antreten und ausziehen, bekommen einen tollen Blick auf die Frankfurter Terminal und steigen Sie von der Landebahn. Einmal in der Luft, es ist eine Drehung nach links und wir bald beginnen, um Zeit aufzuholen. Wir steigen direkt auf 38,000ft, fliegen in Richtung Köln, eine Linkskurve in den Norden von Brüssel direkt über Antwerpen Fliegen, Überqueren der Küste in der Nähe von Ostend und immer eine tolle Aussicht auf den Schiffsverkehr in der Straße von Dover.
