I started my collection with Franklin Mint planes years ago so I'm a fan. They are simply built with fixed undercarriage and no frills. This is a typical FM plane with great paintwork and a good amount of metal. They are expensive for what you get, but Aiken's has their sales where you can get a good deal on a quality product.
