This print is matted to include a meteorite fragment; the full name of the meteorite is Campo Del Cielo, meaning í«íÍField of the Sky.í«íñ Carbon dating of charred wood fragments taken from beneath the meteorite indicated it fell to earth around 2,200 BC. The crater field is two miles wide by 12 miles long with 26 craters. These meteorites hit the earth's atmosphere traveling up to 150,000 miles per hour, landing in the Chaco of northern Argentina. This meteorite is composed of 93% Iron, 6% Nickel, 0.05% Cobalt with trace amounts of Phosphorus, Iridium, Gallium and Germanium. Certificate of Authenticity included.
