The American Boeing P-26, nicknamed the "Peashooter", was the first all-metal production fighter aircraft and the first pursuit monoplane used by the United States Army Air Corps. The prototype first flew in 1932, and were used by the Air Corps as late as 1941 in the Philippines.

First, aikensairplanes had wonderful customer service. I received a model with defective, crumbling paint and they immediately sent a substitute model! 5 stars for service!
Next, the model itself is more than satisfactory. These Postage Stamp Peashooters are a great, affordable way to get into colorful, prewar aircraft on a good scale for display. The planes feel very solid and the paintjob is clear and finished in a low gloss. Very sharp-looking in any paint scheme!
