This aircraft flew in the infamous Eagle Squadron. It features the fully detailed "Missouri Kid" emblem and was piloted by Ralph Hofer. 334th FS, 4th FG - The first flight of the heavy P-47 took place on 6 May 1941. A series of modifications ultimately led to the P-47C-5, which was the principal sub-variant of the P47-C family. This variant was among the first Thunderbolts to be sent overseas for combat, and the 4th FG (Fighter Group) in England received this fighter. 1. Bad picture 5 Star Review

Do not judge this model by the picture on the website. This is a really nice looking model and the picture does not do it justice. All parts fit well with excellent paint and graphics.

  2. P47 3 Star Review

Posted by on 2nd Feb 2014

The model is great and dragon p47 is the best on the market.
But the parts are hard to put in place and need some white glue.
And the model is fragile one of the flaps was broken but the white glue was use again.Take care also when you put the propeller the axe can break, and after you need white glue.

Anyway the model need the effort and is great.

Would I recommend the Dragon P-47? Absolutely!!!

If I'll put 3 stars it's because the effort to put the part and the flap.

For the model itself I'll put 4 stars.
