One of the most poplar airplanes introduced in aviation history was the Stearman Bi-Plane. Founded by Lloyd Stearman in 1927, the Stearman Aircraft Company began in earnest to develop the Bi-Plane out of Venice, California. The early 1930's saw a remarkable increase in aviation enthusiasm due to "Wing Walking" and "Barnstorming" using the popular Stearman Bi-Plane.
